Kelly Starnes

Kelly Starnes is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. She led her first Diversity Taskforce in 1996, and has continued her efforts in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion space as an extension of her varied roles in sales, training, operations, management and marketing. She has created and facilitated DEI discussions and presentations, coached and advised in this area, as well as led the DEI committee for Wake Forest University alumni. Kelly also served on the WFU President’s Commission on DEI.

In addition to her professional journey, Kelly likes to cook new dishes, travel, and care for her many plants. Kelly also finds immense joy in spending quality time with her nieces, often traveling or going to a concert with them. She remains actively engaged with her alma mater, Wake Forest University, where she completed both her Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating Cum Laude. A native of Gastonia, North Carolina, she now resides in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
